Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Cleburne: (Dates to come for 2011) I had to throw this in there because my 3 year old went this past June and she LOVED it. It was put together amazingly inspirational. You can tell that this group of people loves kids!
Clark Gardens Botanical Park Fall Festival :October: 10am-3pm: This is located in Weatherford and is lots of fun for the entire family. They have a kids and crafts area and the view is beautiful. Welcome Fall.

Gaylord Texan: This is the place to stay if you are visiting our great state or want some time away. The Gaylord is constantly putting on exhibits for children and adults. My favorite is the winter/Christmas events. Loved the Ice Sculptures!
Dinsaur World: Located in Glen Rose Texas: Open everyday 9-6 excluding Christmas & Thanksgiving. You can walk thru a nature trail filled with life size dinosaurs. Afterwards enjoy a fossil dig. My daughter thought this was the greates thing sinced sliced bread however I was a bit disappointed. Dinosaurs are behind a rope and can not be touched. Picnic table and playground area with shade.
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center: Open Year Round but Hours Vary: This is exactly that, a wildlife center. It features a number of animals with most that can be fed food while riding through in your vehicle. There are a number of options with this park so check out the link. When we went my daughter was able to hand feed the Giraffe and that was priceless!
Big Rocks: This is kind of like water hole where everyone gathers to play on hot days. We have not been since the new baby but used to love it. Quick dip to cool off and play with snow cone stands and the local square eateries nearby.Free!

There is something for everyone and if your in our great state it is a must do. For us it a yearly tradition with fried food indulgences, midway rides, and you can't forget the PIGS!
Westfest Polka Festival Each Labor Day Weekend. Funner than it sounds. Food, fun, family festivities,ars and crafts, tractor pull.
Antique Alley: Every spring and fall. This is 25 mile long shopping venue via FM 4(S). You will find music, entertainment, entrepreuners, vendors, fundraisers, and garage sales along this stretch. We will have table set up in Cleburne past the Eastern Heights Church in the driveway to the left. Look for lots of pink and baked goods.
